Automatic target specification
Automatic target specification and the next target to be specified can be monitored using the
target position list. The target position list is an internal memory where targets are managed.
This list is filled with calculated target position values during initialization based on the starting
position of the waterside (P26) and the spreader width (P106) (see also Figure 2). Each target
position value is assigned a unique index during this process. Only the indexes 0 (unload) and
1 (load) are relevant for the landside. Indexes 20 and over are used for the waterside.
The "Target position list" screenshot below shows the second status display of the target
generator, which contains the target position list. The targets for the landside are shown on the
left. The targets for the waterside are shown on the right. In each section, the first column lists
the index, the second the trolley position and the third the hoist position. The column after the
hoist position indicates the status. If this contains a "1", the position has already been reached.
Otherwise, a "0" is displayed. Furthermore, positions which have already been approached are
shown in blue. The last column is of no significance. The target position list is continued on the
third status display of the target generator.
