Note
In error-free operation with a camera (refer to the left-hand column in the figure), the calculation
model is continuously synchronized with the value measured by the camera except in the
following instance:
If the amplitude of the deflection is less than 20 mm, the calculation model is only synchronized
if the TRAVEL control bit is set and a setpoint > 0 is present.
6.4.2
Activating the "sway control" function
Activation
Set the SC_ON control bit.
This applies to all operating modes.
Sway control active
The trolley is accelerated or decelerated such that the sway has been eliminated in accordance
with the permissible residual sway setting when the desired set velocity is reached.
Sway control inactive
The up and down ramps for the velocity output value of the trolley are specified as linear
characteristics according to the set acceleration (P6).
6.4.3
Deactivating the "sway control" function
The conditions under which the sway control system will be deactivated are described below.
The system is deactivated if at least one of the conditions is fulfilled.
Conditions for deactivating the sway control system:
● The SC_ON control bit is reset.
● The activation velocity (P146) has not been reached.
- OR -
The ON delay (P147) has not yet expired.
- OR -
The OFF delay (P148) has not yet expired.
● The SC_WHEN_STOP control bit is set.
In this case the sway control system is only active during stopping, i.e. when setpoint V_SET
is zero.
