Procedure for recording diagrams
The "View diagram" window is opened using the "F2-Start" button (see screenshot below). The
axes and parameters to be recorded can be selected in this window.

The following settings can be defined on the "Axes" tab:
● Axes – Trolley, Hoist, TLS (Trolley, Hoist, TLS)
The required axes are activated.
● Recording cycle
If the recording period is long, the number of values to be recorded per time unit can be
defined. With the setting "1", one value will be recorded in each sampling cycle (interpolation
cycle clock T2); with the setting "10", a value will be recorded only every tenth sampling
cycle.
● Delete diagram
The most recently recorded or loaded diagram is removed from the view.
● Longtime Trace
This function can be used to record over several hours or several days, e.g. for diagnostic
purposes. These files are stored in the default directory: {CeCOMM application path}
\LongTraces. If you want to use an external hard disk as a data storage medium, for
example, you can enter a new path in the "Properties" dialog window on the page "Diagram"
→ "F8-Properties" → "Project Title" tab. NOTE:
Note
If no path is specified in the dialog window, the default path mentioned above is used.
● x/y display
To display the x/y diagram, the "position setpoints" and "actual position values" must be
recorded. They will be selected automatically when the checkbox is activated.
● Show TLS-Text
When the "Show TLS-Text" box is checked, the TLS signal names are displayed instead of
the trolley or hoist signals (see also Chapter TLS trace (Page 306)).
Recording is started in the "View diagram" window using the "F2-Start" or "F4-Start Trigger"
button. When the "F4-Start Trigger" button is used for starting, recording is only performed if the
SIMOCRANE CeCOMM commissioning and diagnostic program
