Accessory description
4.2.1
Fixed speed hydronic module
The hydronic module is made up of the main system hydron-
ic components: factory installed water pump, mesh filter and
discharge valve.
The rated flow of the system must be adjusted using a manual
control valve (not supplied).
The safety valve placed on the water inlet pipes at pump inlet
limits the pressure to 400 kPa (4 bar).
An easily removable mesh filter placed at pump inlet and an
external filter protect the pump and the plate heat exchanger
from solid particles with size above 800 µm.

The use of the hydronic module on open systems is for-
bidden.
4.2.2
Variable speed hydronic module
A variable speed hydronic module is similar to a fixed speed
hydronic module.
In this case, the pump is controlled by a variable frequency
control system that allows adjusting the nominal flow of the
pump according to the selected control mode (constant pres-
sure or temperature differential) and to the system operating
conditions.

4.2.3
Master/slave module
It IS possible to connect two units with a communication bus
using a 0.75 sq.mm shielded intertwined cable.
All parameters required for the Master/Slave operation must be
configured through the Service configuration menu.
All remote controls of the Mater/Slave unit (start/stop, drain,
etc.) are managed through the unit set as Master and must be
applied to the Master unit only.
UNITS EQUIPPED WITH HYDRONIC MODULE
The Master/Slave operation is possible only when the units are
installed in parallel. There are two possible installation op-
tions:
− option 1: operation in parallel with control on the water
inlet
− option 2: operation in parallel with control on the water
outlet.
In the first option the master-slave unit is controlled on the
water inlet
without additional sensors
(standard configura-
tion).
In the second option, the Master and Slave control on the water
outlet is possible only by
adding two additional sensors
to the
common supply pipe.
Each unit controls its water pump.
UNITS NOT EQUIPPED WITH HYDRONIC MODULE
In case of units installed in parallel and if only one common
pump is installed by the installer, it is necessary to install shut-
off valves on each unit. They must be controlled (opening and
closing) using the control of the relevant unit (the valves of
each unit can be controlled using the control outputs of the
unit water pump). For the connections refer to the control

It is recommended not to configure the control mode on a
pressure differential if the variable speed option is avail-
able on one or two units. It is recommended to configure
the temperature differential mode with the same setpoint.
