− open and rotate the access panel to the electric parts using the specific key supplied with the unit
− route power cables and any accessory cable through the prearranged holes highlighted in the figure.
Check that:
− power supply complies with the specifications indicated in the unit data plate
− the characteristics of the power network are suitable for the device's usage values, also taking into account any other
machinery that will be operating alongside it
− the power supply voltage corresponds to the nominal value +/- 10%, with a maximum phase imbalance of 2%
− all of the power network disconnect devices must be equipped with contact openings (4 mm) in order to allow for com-
plete disconnection, in accordance with the conditions required for overvoltage class III
− power must be disconnected only for fast maintenance operations; for longer operations or when decommissioning the
unit the power supply must be kept stable.
It is mandatory to:
− have an omnipolar magneto-thermal circuit breaker and a padlockable disconnecting switch compliant with the IEC-EN
Standards (contact opening of at least 4 mm), with adequate breaking power and differential protection, installed near
the equipment
− connect the device to a properly functioning earthing system
− make sure that the electrical power supply system is compliant with the current national safety standards
− make sure that the power supply line impedance is consistent with the unit's power consumption, as indicated on the
unit's data plate
− for any electrical intervention, refer to the wiring diagrams supplied with the equipment.
