3.7.6 Hydronic kit option
The hydronic kit option allows constantly monitoring water flow rate.
The hydronic kit measures the following parameters:
− entering and leaving water pressure;
− water exchanger flow rate.
The flow rate is based on the pressure difference between entering
and leaving water and the curves of the pressure drops.
For units with variable speed pumps, this option allows automatically
adjusting the pump speed required for the correct water flow rate.
The water flow control can be based on the use of the compressors,
the constant pressure delta or the constant temperature difference.

3.7.7 Control point
The control point represents the water temperature that must be
produced by the unit. The capacity required may be lowered accord-
ing to the unit operating load conditions.
Control point = Active se Reset
The control point is calculated according to the active setpoint and
the reset calculation. The forced value can be used instead of any
other setpoint calculation only when the unit is in Network oper-
ating mode.
To check the control point [CTRL_PNT]:
− Move to the Main Menu.

ACTIVE SETPOINT
Two setpoints can be selected, the first of which is used during oc-
cupied periods, whereas the second is used during unoccupied pe-
riods.
Based on the current operation type, the active setpoint can be se-
lected:
− manually through the Main menu on the user interface;
− with dry contacts;
− with network controls;
− automatically with the setpoint programming (OCCPC02S).
The tables below sum up the admissible selections according to the
type of operating control (Local / Remote / Network) and to the fol-
lowing parameters:
− Heating or Cooling operating mode [HC_SEL]
− setpoint selection [SP_SEL]
− setpoint switch status [SETP_SW]
− double setpoint timer occupied status [SP_OCC].
