25.3. ADDING SERIES TO SERIES DATABASE
Series Database comprises series and series samples. While creating a series, first set its name,
next add samples. The software is intuitive and you are guided by means of respective prompts.
Provide a name for each sample. To add a series go either to series database or differential weighing
mode.
Procedure:
1. Press < Databases> button, next press <Series> button.
2. Press < Add > button, a series is added.
A new record is automatically added to the database, it is opened in an editing mode. Enter the
necessary parameters.
List of series parameters:
•
Name: press “Name” field, a window for entering series name opens.
•
Code: enter series code.
•
Customer: select a customer for whom the series measurements are to be carried out.

Samples: press to view list of samples, for a new series the list is empty, add new samples. To
do it press < Add > button, the sample is added automatically, its name can be edited and
changed
•
Number of samples: option editing disabled, the number is updated at real time by the software
on adding a new sample to the series.
For each sample on the list its current differential weighing status is displayed (weighing process
stage).
Newly added samples do not have any status assigned – the field is empty. The status is updated at
real time after each completed weighing process stage.
25.4. DIFFERENTIAL WEIGHING PROCESS EXAMPLE
Activate DIFFERENTIAL WEIGHING mode, next:
1. Select information to be displayed in the grey workspace
2. Select appropriate quick access keys
3. Add a series to balance’s memory (a name identifies a series)
4. Add samples to a series (a name identifies a sample)
5. On adding samples return to the differential weighing home screen
SELECTING a series:
Press <SERIES> quick access key, a window with
series database opens.
Enter the database, press field with series that is to be
carried out.
Selected series name is displayed in the grey
workspace (provided that such information is enabled
to be displayed the workspace).
