1. Press <Setup> button, next press <Databases> button.
2. Go to products database and press < Add> button.
3. Fill in product related fields, weight value (field [5]) among many.
4. Return to <Parts counting> mode.
16.6. UPDATING PART MASS IN A DATABASE
Determined single part mass can be assigned to a product in the database of products. This option is
applied while using ACAI (Automatic Accuracy Correction) function in order to determine part mass
with high accuracy.
Procedure:
1. Determine single part mass.
2. Press < Products> button.
3. Press and hold name of a product mass of which is to be updated.
4. Contextual menu is displayed.
5. Select
<Assign reference sample mass> parameter , reference mass is saved to a product
record under <Mass> entry.
16.7. PARTS COUNTING PROCEDURE
The first step for Parts Counting mode is obtaining data on mass of a single part. Select one of
available options:
•
Give weight value of a single part (see section 16.3) and put parts to be counted on the
weighing pan, balance displays total amount of parts.
•
Determine mass of a single part from a given quantity of parts (see section 16.4.). Put parts to
be counted on the weighing pan, the balance displays total amount of parts. In the course of
calculation, ACAI function pictogram <
> is displayed (providing the function is active).
•
Acquire mass of a single part from database of products (see section 16.5.) by selecting a
desired product record. Put parts to be counted on the weighing pan, the balance displays total
amount of parts.
CAUTION!
Any additional elements (packaging) shall be tared prior to counting process start.
16.8. CHECKWEIGHING FOR PARTS COUNTING MODE
Parts counting process can be aided by checkweighing function, i.e. control whether indication is
within set thresholds.
Checkweighing requires setting values for two thresholds:
•
LOW threshold [Min= … parts]
•
HIGH threshold [Max= … parts]
and setting YES value for Bar graph. The Bar graph displays relation:
CURRRENT NO. OF PARTS / CHECKWEIGHING THRESHOLDS.
