5.1.1 Keypad
Keys and their functions for the PT610, PT620 and PT630 weighing indicators are below.
Note that many keys have alternate functions dependant on the mode of operation (weighing, setup,
data entry, etc.) in effect.

Power key:
Press to turn the indicator on, press and hold for more than 2
seconds to turn the indicator off.
<ENTER>
Enter Key:
Saves the data entered and goes to the next step.
Also Print:
This key will also print as in the print key above during normal
weighing.

Date and Time key:
Press to view the date and time.
During configuration this key returns or goes back.
<G/N>
<DOWN>
G/N key:
Pressing this key temporarily shows the Gross weight when in Net
weighing mode.
During configuration this key moves to the next parameter menu item or
decreases the value of the flashing digit.
<SETPT>
<UP>
Set-Point key:
Press to enter set-points.
During configuration this key moves to the previous parameter menu item or
increases the value of the flashing digit.
<PRINT>
<CHANGE>
Print key:
Press this key to send weight data and other information (depending
on the setup parameters) to a printer or PC via serial port. If Alibi Memory option
is fitted, weigh data is saved.
During configuration this key changes an item or moves into a parameter to select
a digit.
<UNITS>
<ESC>
<FASTOPT>
Unit Change key:
Press to change units, depending upon configuration
parameters.
Escape Key:

function, press to escape from an entry or operation.
During configuration this key provides fast access to networking.
<TARE>
<LOCK>
<FASTCAL>
Tare key:
Press this key to tare the scale and deduct the weight of the container
placed on the platform so as to see the net weight value of the material
subsequently added into or taken out of the container.
Key Lock:

function is to lock/unlock the keypad.
During configuration this key provides fast access to calibration.
<ZERO>
Zero key:
This key adjusts the scale zero when in Gross mode, if there is any
residual weight or drift. Zeroing should be performed when the platform or scale is
empty.
<X10>
<MEM>
Hi-Res Mode:
Press to enter high resolution with the display multiplied by 10.
Useful in setup.
Memory Key:

function of the key is memory transactions. Press for more than
2 seconds to enter memory functions, or press this key to load any item from
memory during set-point entry.
<CLEAR>

<FASTSET>
Tare Clear Key:
Press to clear the tare setting and return to Gross weighing.
Change Sign Key:
Press to change the set-point value to negative during set-
point entry.
During configuration this key provides fast access to setup.

Identification Data key:
Used to enter identification data to associate with set-
points or products.
During configuration this key returns or goes back.

Function key:
This key can be programmed to a special function for quick
operation.

<UP>
Totalising key:
Pressing this key will add the weight to the total in memory.

decreases the value of the flashing digit.
