Precautions for Using Junction Slaves

This section provides precautions for using Junction Slaves in a network configuration based on the
branching or ring topology.

Precautions for Safe Use

You cannot use standard Ethernet hubs or repeater hubs with EtherCAT communications. If you
use one of these, a major fault level error or other error may occur.
