Automatically Creating the Network

Configuration

Instead of manually setting the network configuration offline, you can also automatically create the net-
work configuration on the Sysmac Studio based on the actual network configuration.
Use the following procedure to automatically duplicate the network configuration on the Sysmac Stu-
dio.

Start the Sysmac Studio and go online with the Controller.

Double-click

EtherCAT

under

Configurations and Setup

on the Multiview Explorer. Or, right-

click

EtherCAT

under

Configurations and Setup

and select

Edit

.

Right-click the EtherCAT master that is displayed in the EtherCAT Tab Page and select

Compare and Merge with Actual Network Configuration

.

The

Compare and Merge with Actual Network Configuration

Dialog Box is displayed.

Click the

Apply actual network configuration

Button.
