Function menu (Photo mode screen)
● While the Photo mode screen is displayed, press [Left] to
display the function menu.
Item Description
Front camera
/Rear camera Switches between the front camera and the rear
camera.

Movie mode Changes to the Movie mode.
Select size Select the image size from VGA (640×480),
CIF (352×288), Stand-by (176×180),
Mail (L)(176×144) and Mail (S)(128×96).
Storage
setting Sets the file size for shooting a still image.
Unrestricted Shoots without restrictions on the
file size.
Restricted
(Large) Shoots up to 100K bytes as the
file size.
Restricted
(Small) Shoots up to 9K bytes as the file
size.
・ This option cannot be selected
when the image size is VGA (640
×480) or CIF (352×288).
White
balance Adjusts the colors according to the light.
Auto Automatically corrects the color.
Fine Is the mode suitable for shooting
outside on a sunny day.
Cloudy Is the mode suitable for shooting
outside on a cloudy day or in the
shade.
Light bulb Is the mode suitable for shooting
under the incandescent lamp.
Color mode
set Sets the effects on the photographed images.
Normal Shoots with the typical color
settings.
Sepia Shoots a sepia-tone image.
Mono-
chrome Shoots a black-and-white
(monochrome) image.
Brightness Chooses the brightness among 5 levels from "-2"
to "+2".
CHG camera-
mode Shoots the continuous images or uses the auto
timer.
Photo mode Returns to the Photo mode screen.
Continuous
mode Shoots still images continuously.
Set the number of shots.
Auto timer Shoots in the auto timer.
Select the time for the auto timer.
Zoom Select the zoom setting for shooting.
・ The zoom setting cannot be changed when the
image size is VGA (640 ×480) or CIF (352 ×
288).
・ " ×4" cannot be selected when the image size
is Stand-by (176×180).
Select
frame Select the frame to add to the shot.
To check the selected frame
Highlight the frame→ [Left]
To cancel the framed photography
Select "OFF"
・ Frame cannot be selected when the image size
is VGA (640×480) or when the camera mode
is in Continuous mode.
Shutter
sound Sets the shutter sound.
To check the shutter sound
Highlight the shutter sound→ [Left]
