Function menu (sent SMS detail screen)
● While the sent SMS detail screen is displayed, press [Left] to
display the function menu.
● Checking the number of messages of the FOMA
terminal (Phone) and FOMA card (UIM)

The remaining number of messages (free space) and the
available number of messages (total capacity) of the FOMA
terminal (Phone) and FOMA card (UIM) are displayed.

NOTE
z Since you cannot protect SMS, be careful when you delete an
SMS or all the SMS.
z You cannot reply to an SMS when the sender has withheld his
or her caller ID (User unset) or is sending from a payphone
(Payphone) or a phone that does not support Caller ID
Notification (Not support).
z You cannot reply to or forward an SMS report (p.92) and
Voice Mail notices. For more details of Voice Mail notices,
refer to the "Network Services Operation Guide".

Edit Edits and sends SMS.

Delete Deletes the currently displayed SMS.

z Since you cannot protect SMS, be careful when you delete an
SMS.

select Specifies whether the FOMA terminal uses
the DoCoMo SMS Center or another provider's
SMS center for SMS.
NTT
DoCoMo Uses the DoCoMo SMS Center.
User
setting Uses another provider's SMS
center.
Enter the SMS center address
Reset Deletes the "User setting" data
and resets the setting to "NTT
DoCoMo".
Enter your security code J "YES"
Select storage Select the destination of SMS between the
"Phone" and "UIM".
NOTE
z There is normally no need to change the settings of "SMS
center select".
z If the entered SMS Center address includes "#" or " ", you
cannot select "International".
