Setting the Date and Time
You can set the clock related functions such as date, time and the
clock display pattern.

Setting Manner mode
You can change the manner mode type or set details for the
original manner mode.
Pressing
(Manner) on the standby screen more than one
second will set the manner mode selected in this feature.
● You can also switch the manner mode on or off by pressing
for more than one second during voice call or videophone call.

Item Description
Clock setting Sets the current time.
When "Time format" is set to "12 h"
to select time (12 hours)/minute/AM or PM
and to select the number J
When "Time format" is set to "24 h"
to select time (24 hours)/minute and to
select the number J
Date setting Sets the current date.
to select the year/month/day and to
select the number J
Time format Sets whether to display the time in 12 or 24
hours.
Clock display Sets whether to display the clock on the standby
screen or not.
NOTE
z If you do not set the time correctly, you cannot set the
automatic start of i-
D ppli and cannot download the i-motion
with restrictions on the play count or period.
z The FOMA terminal is equipped with a built-in backup battery.
The backup battery retains the date and time, which means
that they are not reset even when the battery is exchanged.
However, they may be erased if the battery pack is not
inserted for about two weeks. In such a case, charge the
battery, and then set the date and time again. Charging the
battery pack also charges the backup battery.

Manner mode Mutes all tones played through the speaker
and uses vibration to notify you of incoming
calls, etc.

mode settings to your own preferences.
