Using Calculator Function
The FOMA terminal performs the four basic arithmetic operations
(+ (addition), − (subtraction), × (multiplication), ÷ (division)).
● Up to 9-digit number can be displayed excluding −（minus) and
decimal places.
● The result number consisting of more than 9 figures is displayed
as "E".

<Text memo>
Composing Text Memo
You can use the FOMA terminal to write short messages, etc. as
text memos.
● You can store up to 9 text memos.

[Left] J (Tools) J "Text memo"
The Text memo screen appears.

■To check the details of the currently stored text memo
Select an item to check in details
･ You can edit the text memo by pressing [Left] while
viewing.

Compose a text memo
Function memo (Text memo list screen)
● While the Text memo list screen is displayed, press [Left] to
display the function menu.
NOTE
z If you press [Left] before performing the four arithmetic
operations, the figures being input will be cleared. If you
press
[Left] after the performance, all the figures being
culculated will be cleared.
■ Important
z It is recommended to back up the text memos by taking
notes. You can also save the data to your PC by using the
Data Transfer Software (p.157) and the FOMA USB Cable
(optional).
z The trouble, repair, change etc. of the FOMA terminal may
erase the contents of the text memo. NTT DoCoMo
disclaims any responsibility whatsoever for loss of data. Take
notes of the text memos just in case.

View Displays the content of the text memo.
・ You can edit the text memo by pressing

Edit Edit the text memo.
Compose
message Composes an i-mode mail and sends it out. The
content of the text memo appears as the text
of the message→p.78
Delete Deletes the highlighted memo.
Delete all Deletes all the text memos.
