to the network or dial-up successfully:
Uninstalling the FOMA
PC Setting Software
This section describes uninstallation
instructions for FOMA PC setting software.

When uninstalling the "FOMA PC Setting
Software" on Windows 2000/Windows XP,
be sure to log on as Administrator. If you
attempt to uninstall the file with another
account, an error occurs. Contact your PC's
manufacturer or Microsoft for information
on how to set Administrator privileges on
your PC.
1 Before uninstalling
Before starting to uninstall the "FOMA PC

the various changes made for FOMA must
be restored to the default settings.
(1) Disable the "W-TCP settings" in the
task tray
Right-click the "W-TCP icon" in the task
tray located at the right-bottom of the
desktop and select " 常 駐させない"
(Disable resident)
(2) Exit any running program
If you try to uninstall while the "FOMA PC
setting software" or "W-TCP settings" is
running, the following screen will appear.
Cancel the uninstallation and exit the
programs.
Problem Points to check
"FOMA
N600i" is
not
recognized
by the PC ・ Check if your PC is equipped with the
environment required (p.2).
・ Check if the N600i communication
setting file has been correctly
installed.
・ Check if the FOMA terminal is
connected to the PC and the power is
turned on.
・ Check if the FOMA USB Cable
(optional) is firmly connected.
Unable to
connect
to the
access
point ・ Check if the settings for the ID
(user name) and password are
correct.
・ Check if the FOMA USB Cable
(optional) is firmly connected.
・ If the access point requires the Caller
ID, make sure that 184" is not
prefixed to the phone number.
・ Check if the フロー制御を使う" (Use
the flow control) box of the modem
properties is selected.
・ Check if the APN is set correctly.
・ If you still cannot connect to the
other end after checking the above,
check with the Internet service
provider or network administrator
about the setting method.
