961’s chart lists. With this in mind, if you mark for dele-
tion any one of these multiple components, for example, a
chart inset, the 961 will automatically delete

all

the com-

ponents (the base chart and all its insets) when you pro-
ceed with the deletion process.

•

If you’re using the Skipper series and want to switch to
Navigator, you must delete all the Skipper charts and per-
mits before you load Navigator charts and permits; con-
versely, if you’re using the Navigator series and want to
switch to Skipper, you must delete all the Navigator charts
and permits before you load Skipper charts and permits.
Both of these procedures are performed the same way; see
”Deleting all HCRF specific information” starting on page
13-47.

Your ARCS license is valid only for your 961 and isn’t
transferrable.
