uations; however, even with the alarm audio off, you’ll still see
the alarm messages displayed onscreen.
You can set the 961’s alarms to emit seven different levels of
sound from low to high, or else turn the alarm audio off. The

itself, to the next level. While you press and hold the

Understanding the TideTrack function
What is TideTrack?
The 961’s TideTrack function calculates and selects tide infor-
mation for any of over 3,000 NOS/NOAA tide stations. Tide-
Track covers the entire U.S. coastline, including Alaska and
Hawaii, plus many Caribbean islands and western Canada.
You can display tides up to the year 2099. The data is from the
official tide-table predictions, and should be as accurate as the
printed tables. For more information about the printed tables,
refer to
Tide Tables
published by the NOS/NOAA, Rockville,
Maryland 20852.
With TideTrack, you can display tide-station information right
on the
CHART
screen. When you select a tide station that’s
either near your vessel or somewhere else on the
CHART
screen, a tide graph displays the tide height during any
24-hour period.
