2. To clear the alarm message from the screen and stop the
alarm audio (if on), press the
CLEAR ALARM
key.
The 961 moves the new alarm to the
OLD ALARMS
box.

cal miles of entering the active waypoint’s
arrival radius. You can set the arrival
radius at the

active waypoint’s arrival radius

You can
wait until the alarm automatically clears, or
you can manually clear the alarm by
pressing the
CLEAR ALARM
key at the
ALARMS
screen. The factory setting for
the arrival radius field is 0.02 nm, or
approximately 120 feet. You can com-
pletely disable this alarm; see ”Changing
alarm settings” starting on page 12-6.
Yes, when leaving the
arrival radius, or by
passing the active way-
point, or by changing to
a new one.
PASSING _____
This alarm means you’ve passed abeam
of the active waypoint (only appears when
there are no future waypoints, or when in
MOB mode, or during manual sequenc-
ing).

This alarm means you’re switching to your
trip’s next leg.

This alarm means you’ve entered an
avoidance point.
