5. Press the
GO NOW
key.
The
JOIN LEG
dialog box appears, prompting you to
remember to press the
SAVE
key at the point where you
actually join the leg (a
SAVE
keypress will store that point
in the trip).
6. Press the
OK
key.
The 961 begins navigating along the selected route leg,
then follows the rest of the route.
Adding a route to the end of your trip
You can add an entire route, or only part of a route, to the end
of your trip.
1. On the
ROUTES
screen, press the
CURSOR PAD
up or
down to select the desired route.
2. To display the route on the
CHART
screen, press the
ON
CHART
key, then press the
CHART
key.
3. On the
CHART
screen, press the
CURSOR PAD
to select
the starting point or starting leg of the route.
The name of the selected route must appear in the
CUR-
SOR INFO BAR
at the bottom of the screen; if necessary,
press the
LEFT ARROW
and
RIGHT ARROW
keys. To
add the entire route, select
POINT 1
of the desired route;
to add only part of the route, select the desired
POINT
and the 961 will add the route starting at this point. You
also can select a route leg, and the 961 will add the route
starting at the beginning point of the selected leg, includ-
ing all subsequent legs and points.
4. Press the
CURSOR
menu key.
The
SELECTED ROUTE LEG
or
SELECTED ROUTE
POINT
dialog box appears, depending on whether you
selected a route point or a route leg.
5. Press the
ADD TO END OF TRIP
key.
The 961 adds the route to the end of your trip. If you were
already past the end of the existing trip, you’ll immediately
begin navigating to the new route.
