Loading, updating, and deleting charts

The 961’s CD-ROM drive is used to install charts onto the 961.
These charts can include either of the following types:

•

BSB-formatted ChartPack and ChartKit charts (CDs avail-
able from Northstar dealers, Maptech, or NDI)

•

HCRF charts, such as ARCS charts (CDs available from
ARCS agents/distributors)

The 961’s

SETUP MENU

screen accesses the option for manag-

ing your entire inventory of charts. To access this chart-inven-
tory function and the corresponding

CHARTS INVENTORY

screen, press the

STAR

key until you reach the

SETUP MENU

screen, then press the

CHART INVENTORY

key.

Chart inventory screen

From the

CHART INVENTORY

screen, you can perform any of

the following chart-management functions:

•

load any chart

•

delete any chart

•

update HCRF charts
