Whenever you want to steer directly from an off-course posi-
tion to a waypoint, press the 

RESTART HERE 

key, and the 961 

recalculates the desired track to extend from your present 
position directly to the next waypoint, resetting your XTE to 
zero. You can restart the desired track at the 

3-D STEER

 

screen, the traditional

 STEER

 screen, the 

CHART

 screen, and 

the 

TRIP

 screen.
