Configuring Your Server 4-35
Save & Exit
When the cursor is moved to the [Save & Exit] position, the Save & Exit menu is displayed.
Each option in this menu is described below.
IMPORTANT:
The factory settings and default values differ
depending on the model. The settings must be corrected according to
your environment by referring to the list of settings in this section.
Save Changes and Exit
Select this item to save the newly selected settings in the CMOS memory (which is non-volatile)
and exit the setup utility. When [Save Changes and Exit] is selected, a confirmation screen is
displayed.
If you select [Yes] on this screen, the newly selected settings are saved to the CMOS memory, the
setup utility is closed, and the system automatically restarts.
Discard Changes and Exit
Select this item to exit the setup utility without saving the newly selected settings in the CMOS
memory (which is non-volatile).
When this item is selected, the [Reset without saving?] confirmation screen is displayed, and, if you
select [Yes], the setup utility is closed without saving the settings to the CMOS memory, and the
system proceeds to the boot processing. If you select [No], the changed settings are saved to the
CMOS memory, the setup utility is closed, and the system automatically restarts.
