INSTALLATION
5.1 General warnings
It is assumed, for the safe use of the machine, that the reader of this chapter is already familiar with
the contents of heading 2.2 "Safety Warnings".
The following paragraphs provide details on the specific requirements for safely interacting with the
machine.
Operating personnel:
OPERATOR
CAUTION
During operations, the operator must wear all the necessary Personal Protective Equipment
(PPE) based on the particular stage in the machine's life cycle. See heading 2, "Safety".
IMPORTANT
The Manufacturer declines all liability for operations performed:
•
by inadequate personnel;
•
without observing the health and safety regulations in force;
•
without observing the procedures provided in these instructions.
IMPORTANT
Before proceeding with any type of procedure, it is essential to have read and understood the
contents of this manual, studied the relative images and adopted the safety and protection
measures described.
5.2 Positioning
Maximum performance of each cooling system also depends on the observance of some general
rules which should be followed:
• The adiabatic cooler must always be installed outdoors, preferably in a well-ventilated area and
making sure there is a minimum clearance from any walls or buildings (at least equal to the width of
an air intake vent).
To evaluate the possibility of a different installation, contact the MITA Technical Office.
•
Avoid roofs, screens, ducts or other structures that prevent the free and correct circulation
of air in the machine;
• Pay particular attention to the presence of any prevailing winds and make sure that possible
"leeward" situations do not cause the cooler to recirculate the air [Fig.05].
•
Do not position the cooler under canopies
: impeding free air exhaust may result in recirculation
of the same air, significantly compromising machine efficiency;
• As far as possible, avoid installing the cooler near trees, in particularly dusty and/or windy areas or
