2.1. Identification of operating personnel
Operating personnel are the team of people assigned by the user to perform the various production
and maintenance activities based on specific skills and qualifications. Said personnel must:
• be fully familiar with the indications provided in this document on which specific instruction and
training has been provided;
• have acquired experience and knowledge in the specific sphere of work.
The presence of the following symbols means that the operations described can only be carried out by
specific qualified personnel.
OPERATOR
Person responsible for the operating phases who in complete autonomy can:
• within the sphere of his competence, anticipate dangers in the work cycle or during the
adjustment of parts and correct any irregularities;
• guarantee the quality of the production he is in charge of;
• ensure good equipment and system efficiency;
• ensure adequate cleanliness.
MAINTENANCE MECHANIC
Person with specific and certified qualifications responsible for performing mechanical
work on equipment, who in complete autonomy can:
• perform maintenance, disassembly and technical assistance operations and replace and
reassemble mechanical parts or equipment;
• identify mechanical breakages/damage and determine the relative causes;
• perform calibration and lubrication operations;
• foresee the hazards linked to these operations.
MAINTENANCE ELECTRICIAN
Person with specific and certified qualifications responsible for performing electrical work
on equipment, who in complete autonomy can:
• perform maintenance, disassembly and assistance operations and replace and
reassemble electrical parts or equipment;
• identify electrical and electronic breakdowns/damage and determine the relative causes;
• perform calibration operations;
• foresee the hazards linked to these operations.
Mita Cooling Technologies S.r.l. SKILLED TECHNICIAN
Expert technician appointed by the manufacturer who is able and qualified to perform
the same tasks as the:
• Operator;
• Maintenance mechanic;
• Maintenance electrician;
can execute specific activities (e.g. mechanical, electrical and electronic) which are
outside the competence or scope of work performed autonomously by the user (e.g.
supervision of installation, testing, adjustments, optimisation, software updates, etc.).
The manufacturer, in the absence of a specific contractual agreement, can in any case
guarantee as required, the intervention of an expert technician via the post-sales
assistance service.
