PUTTING INTO SERVICE AND PRELIMINARY
ADJUSTMENTS
6.1 General warnings
It is assumed, for the safe use of the machine, that the reader of this chapter is already familiar with the
contents of heading 2.2 "Safety Warnings".
The following paragraphs provide details on the specific requirements for safely interacting with the machine.

CAUTION
During operations, the operator must wear all the necessary Personal Protective Equipment
(PPE) based on the particular stage in the machine's life cycle. See heading 2, "Safety".
WARNING
Before proceeding with any type of procedure, it is essential to have read and understood
the contents of this manual, studied the relative images and adopted the safety and
protection measures described.
CAUTION
During checks the operator runs the risk of falling from a height and the relative
consequences.
Before proceeding, personnel must be kitted out with fall protection equipment and must
access the areas in question using a cherry picker or platform ladder with side rails in
compliance with the regulations in force in the country of use.
WARNING
Cooler maintenance staff should follow the recommendations provided in EUROVENT 9-7
guidelines (Ed. 2011) to keep cooling systems safe and efficient.
