•  long and loose sleeves;
•  ties and scarves;
•  necklaces, bracelets and rings.

•  To  avoid  damaging  the

machine  and  generating  dangerous  situations,  do  not  to  try  to  hoist

yourself up onto the

machine components.

•  Personnel in charge of

machine maintenance must be familiar with the contents of this Manual

and  have  adequate  technical  preparation  to  correctly  interpret  the  instructions  and  diagrams
attached to this manual and intervene on the machine.

•  The area where maintenance operations are carried out (routine and corrective) must always be

clean, dry and with efficient and appropriate equipment available.

•  The work area must not be occupied in any way that interferes with the operator's freedom of

movement. In case of an emergency, immediate access to the machine must be guaranteed to
the personnel in charge.

•  Access  to  the  aforementioned  area  is  forbidden  to  people  who  are  not  directly  in  charge  of

machine operation in order to prevent hazards due to carelessness or negligence when work is
being performed on the machine.

•  If  it  is  necessary  to  carry  out  any  work  near  electrical  components,  keep  hands  dry  and  use

dielectric gloves (working on electrical components with wet hands will almost certainly lead to
an electric shock hazard).

CAUTION:

before  starting  any  type  of  work  on  the  machine  or  near  any  of  its  components,  all  power
supplies must  be  cut off; if this is  not  possible, it is  necessary  to implement  measures  that
make it possible to operate safely near the machine.

CAUTION:

tampering with or the unauthorised replacement of one or more machine parts and the use of
accessories,  tools  and  consumables  different  to  those  indicated  by  the  Manufacturer  can
generate injury hazards.

ENVIRONMENTAL NOTE:

all  materials  with  an  environmental  impact that must  be thrown  away following  servicing  or
work  on  the  machine  must  be  disposed  of  in  accordance  with  the  regulations  in  force.  If
necessary, contact a specialised waste disposal facility.

2.8.  Intended use

The PAD-V adiabatic cooler can be used as both a liquid cooler (normally water or a water and glycol mixture)
and as a remote refrigerant gas condenser, in which case the battery must comply with Pressure Equipment
Directive 2014/68/EU concerning pressurised equipment (in this specific case, see also the battery's instruction
manual provided as an annex to this manual.

The operating conditions of the PAD-V, based on the characteristics of the individual model, must always comply
with the technical operating data shown on the CE data plate on board the individual machine. These values
must never be exceeded.

Use of the machine for different operations or in different operating conditions to those given in the technical
operating  data  shown  on  the  CE  data  plate  could  harm  people  or  damage  the  machine  and  is  therefore
considered improper uses for which the Manufacturer shall not be held liable.

The  machine  has  not  been  designed  and  built  to  be  installed  in  environments  with  a  potentially  explosive
atmosphere and/or to treat fluids or gases that are flammable, combustible or electrostatic or which can in some
way generate a potentially explosive atmosphere.
