MAINTENANCE
8.1 General warnings
Periodical maintenance and correct use are essential factors in guaranteeing optimum functionality, safe
operation and the life expectancy of the machine. Maintenance operations and the prescribed tasks are to be
performed by the maintenance mechanic, who must operate in compliance with the safety prescriptions
described in this manual
CAUTION
Routine and/or unscheduled maintenance operations must be performed by qualified
personnel. No responsibility will be accepted for operations carried out by unqualified
operators or without complying with the safety standards and instructions provided in this
manual.
CAUTION
During operations, the operator must wear all the necessary Personal Protective Equipment
(PPE) based on the particular stage in the machine's life cycle. See heading 2, "Safety".

CAUTION
It is the client's responsibility to establish a suitable operating procedure for performing work
at a height, instructing the personnel involved and providing all the necessary tools and
equipment, including PPE.
CAUTION
All maintenance operations must be performed by the operator in safety conditions, i.e. with
the machine disconnected from the power supply.
CAUTION
Before any operation is performed on the machine, make sure the unit is isolated from the
power supply.
CAUTION
During checks the operator runs the risk of falling from a height and the relative
consequences.
Before proceeding, personnel must be kitted out with fall protection equipment and must
access the areas in question using a cherry picker or platform ladder with side rails in
compliance with the regulations in force in the country of use.
