If no problem is found in the above checks, there may be the following reasons:
1. The serial port connected to the configuration cable is wrong (the actual
selected serial port is not consistent with the set serial port of the terminal).
2. The setting of the configuration terminal parameters is wrong (the parameter
requirement: set the baud rate as 9600, data bit as 8, parity check as none,
stop bit as 1, traffic control as none, and select the terminal emulation as
VT100). For details, refer to
4.1.2 Set PC HyperTerminal Parameters
.
3. There is something wrong with the console cable and you can try to change the
console cable.

S6600 series routing switch has two power modules: AC power AD1000-1S007Z
and DC power DD1000-5S007Z. There is one status indicator on the panel of the
two power modules, used to indicate the work status of one power module.

On:
The
power
module
works normally;
Off: The power module fails.
When the POWER indicator on the power module panel is off, it indicates that the
power module fails. Refer to the following steps for troubleshooting:
Step 1:
Check the power supply system connected to the switch and confirm that the power supply
system works normally and the voltage is normal.
Step 2:
Check whether the switch of the faulty power module is opened, at “ON”.
Step 3:
Check the connection of the power cable on the faulty power module; re-swap the power
cable to confirm whether the power cable is loose.
