MyPower S6600 Series Routing Switch Installation Manual

and also can remove the harmful gas on the board surface effectively, but the

operation is complicated and the cost is high.

To ensure the stable and reliable running of the device, it is necessary to remove

the dust for the optical interface and pigtail connector on the device. The steps for

removing the dust are as follows:

Step 1:

Pull out the interface sub card of the optical interface: When cleaning the optical interface,

first pull down the fiber connected to the optical interface, and then pull out the interface

sub card for cleaning.

Step 2:

Use the private tools and materials to clean: When cleaning the optical interface and pigtail

connector, use the private cleaning tools and materials. The materials should be purchased

from the fiber/optical cable manufacturer.

The un-used optical connector on the board and pigtail should be covered by

the dust cap.

�

To pull out the pigtail of the optical interface that is being used, be sure to use

the dust cap to cover the optical interface and its connected pigtail connector.

On one hand, this can prevent the invisible laser sent by the laser device from

shining the eyes; on the other hand, it can prevent the dust, avoiding the loss

increasing of the dusted fiber interface or pigtail connector.

Before removing the dust for the optical interface, first pull out the interface

sub card and confirm that it does not affect the normal running of the system

service.

�

For the large-power laser interface, use the cleaning tools and materials to

clean.

�

For the small-power optical interface, if there are no private cleaning tools or
