Step 1:
Confirm whether the power module works normally. For details, refer to

Step 2:
Check whether the chassis outlet and inlet are blocked. If yes, clear to ensure the air vent
un-blocked.
Step 3:
Check whether the fan module is installed in place. You can pull out the fan module and insert
it again to check whether the fan indicator recovers normally.
Step 4:
If has condition, try to change the fan module. Check whether the changed fan module can
work normally. If yes, it indicates that the previous fan module is damaged.
If the fault cannot be removed via the above steps, please contact the agent or
local technical engineers.

S6600 series routing switch supports two MPU card (control card) slots. If
inserting two MPU cards, they work in active/standby mode. In the normal
working state, the SYS indicator of the MOU card panel flashes. If the SYS
indicator is off or on, it indicates that the MPU card fails. Refer to the following
steps for troubleshooting.
Step 1:

Check whether the MPU card is installed in place. You can pull out the MPU card and insert
it again to ensure that the MPU card is installed in place. After the MPU card is started, view
whether the SYS indicator of the MPU card flashes.
Step 3:
Insert the MPU card to the other MPU card slot and view whether the working status is
normal. If yes, it indicates that the previous MPU card slot may be damaged.
Step 4:
Connect the console port. View the specific boot information via the configuration terminal
to locate the fault.
If the fault cannot be removed via the above steps, please contact the agent or
local technical engineers.
