METHOD FOR CORRECTING BUCKET EDGE POSITION
You can correct the bucket edge position by comparing the
bucket edge position with control point other than benchmark
on “Offset” tab.
You can also correct it by setting the benchmark as a control
point.
(1) “Raw Bucket Position”
Bucket edge position in world geodetic coordinates is dis-
played.
When measuring again, tap the “Measure...” button (2). Meas-
urement starts.
(3) “Target”
The values of “Position of benchmark” and “Offset” on “Comp.
BM” tab are reflected.
(4) “Difference”
The difference of coordinates between bucket edge position
and control point is displayed.
(5) “Offset”
Input the offset amount into the text box so that the bucket edge position matches control point, and correct the
error of bucket edge position.
Tap “Match” button (6) and the offset value is automatically calculated so that the bucket edge position matches
the control point.
Tap “Zero” button (7) and the offset amount returns to 0.
(8) ENTER button
Tap this button and content of change is saved.
(9) RETURN button
Tap this button and the display returns to the previous screen.
