PRECAUTIONS FOR GNSS RADIO CONFIGURATION
NOTICE
While setting the built-in radio board, even if it is done cor-
rectly, warning screen may be displayed.
In this case, perform the setting of the built-in radio board
configuration again.
PREPARATIONS FOR CALIBRATION

CAUTION
• Do not approach the machine unless necessary. When approaching the machine, secure the safety
according to the following procedure.
• Inform the operator that you approach.
• Only after the operator sets the lock lever to LOCK position, and gives you a sign, you can ap-
proach.
• When getting on and off the machine, do not jump in or out. Support yourself at 3 points always
while getting on and off. Use a stand for getting on and off, as needed.
Prepare the following things in order to perform the calibration.
• Convex rule, tape measure (steel made)
• Plumb (or laser level)
• Level (or laser level)
• Digital angle gauge
• Marker (for put a mark on the bucket for shape recogni-
tion)
• Magnet pole jig set
(A) Magnet base
(B) Pole
Special tools such as magnet pole, etc. is necessary for calibration (especially for measurement of bucket
shape). Ask your Komatsu distributor for exchange calibration when the new bucket is to be installed.
It is possible to measure without special tool, but the accuracy of bucket edge may not be obtained sufficiently.
Ask your Komatsu distributor for exchange calibration if high accuracy of construction is needed.
BUCKET CONFIGURATION
OUTLINE OF CALIBRATION
Machine calibration (TS machine calibration or manual machine calibration) should have been completed before
the bucket configuration is performed.
