9 Defects and faults
The control circuit for the conveyor sys-
tem is not working. There is a connection fault. Check the pull-rope emergency stop
switch connection
(see Section 4.2:
„Electrical connection", page 24) .
A switching element ( 6 ) N/O contact is
defective.
Check that switching element ( 6 ) N/O
contact is working properly (see
Section 5.2.4, step10)
.
If a switching element ( 6 ) N/O contact is
defective, replace the pull-rope emer-
gency stop switch
(see Chapter 5:
„Mounting and dismounting", page 31) .
The pull-rope emergency stop switch is
not triggered with the pull-rope mounted
on one side. The trigger lever ( 1 ) is stiff or blocked. Carry out a function test (see Section 6.5:
„Functional test", page 50) .
