5 Mounting and dismounting
5.4 Mounting
The following steps are required to mount the pull-rope
emergency stop switch:
1. Preparatory work
2. Mechanical mounting
3. Electrical connection
4. Finishing work
5.4.1 Preparatory work
1. Before starting work, isolate the system from the
power supply. Secure the system from being
switched on again. Cover any adjacent, live parts so
that they cannot be touched.
2. If necessary, prepare the substructure (see
Chapter 4: „Technical data", page 21) .
Danger of death if the safety instructions are
not observed!
Always observe the safety measures and general in-
structions described in
Chapter 1: „Safety“, page 7 .

and disposal!

Ingress of dirt and moisture during installa-
tion!
Dirt and moisture may cause the device to malfunction
and corrosion.
Perform the entire installation without interruption. It is
essential to prevent the ingress of dust and moisture
into the device. If the installation is interrupted, protect
the interior of the device from dirt and moisture. If dirt
and moisture have penetrated the device, immediately
clean and dry the device.

Only an electrician may work on the device.
