1 Safety
1.4 Personal safety equipment
The usual personal safety equipment required for work
on conveyor systems must be used for working on the
pull-rope emergency stop switch. The service and safety
requirements of the operator must be complied with.
However, the following safety equipment must be worn at
the very least
(see Section 1.3.2: „Safety instructions for
avoiding personal injury", page 11) :
•
Appropriate work clothing for the requirements of the
relevant conveyor system
•
Hard hat
•
Protective gloves
•
Safety shoes
