6.5 Functional test
Mechanical function test
To carry out a function test, proceed as follows:
1. Before starting work, isolate the system from the
power supply. Secure the system from being
switched on again. Cover any adjacent, live parts so
that they cannot be touched.
2. If necessary, remove the pull-rope from trigger lever
( 1 ). Observe the instructions in the documentation
on the pull-rope system.
The pull-rope emergency stop switch is in the home po-
sition (pull-rope emergency stop switch active) i. e. reset
lever (
2 ) is in switch position "1" (see Fig. 6-6) . Trigger le-
ver ( 1 ) is fixed in a vertical position.
Danger of death if the safety instructions are
not observed!
Always observe the safety measures and general in-
structions described in
Chapter 1: „Safety“, page 7 .
Risk of death from electrical shock!
Only an electrician may work on the device.

Warning - risk of injuries when the release
line is disconnected!
The release line is under spring tension. Carefully dis-
connect the release line from the release lever so that
the release line cannot spring back uncontrollably. Ob-
serve the documentation for the release line system.
