1. Before starting work, isolate the system from the
power supply. Secure the system from being
switched on again. Cover any adjacent, live parts so
that they cannot be touched.
Mechanical and electrical function test in the con-
veyor system
2. Carry out a function test in accordance with
Section 6.5: „Functional test“, page 50 .
Function test on the conveyor system with pull-rope
system
When installing the pull-rope system, observe the follow-
ing instructions:
•
The safety input module is not included with delivery
of the pull-rope emergency stop switch SEG. Acces-
sories from Vossloh Kiepe GmbH are recommended
for the pull rope system
(see Section 10.2: „Ordering
replacement parts and accessories", page 69) . Not-
withstanding the above, the requirements specified
in the relevant standards must be complied with in
respect of the pull-rope system.
•
The pull-ropes ( 20 ) should be guided in a straight
line from attachment points ( 22 ) to the pull-rope
emergency stop switch.
•
Ensure that you have an unobstructed view of the
entire length of pull-ropes (
20 ) from the pull-rope
emergency stop switch to attachment points ( 22 ).
Danger of death if the safety instructions are
not observed!
Always observe the safety measures and general in-
structions described in
Chapter 1: „Safety“, page 7 .
Risk of death from electrical shock!
Only an electrician may work on the device.
