5 Mounting and dismounting
To connect the control circuit, you must use the positive
opening switching elements (
6
)
N/O contacts
with con-
nections (:13,:14), (:33,:34) or (:53,:54).
The cable used for electrical connection must be de-
signed to ensure that the screwed cable gland (
11
) is
properly sealed. To do this, please proceed as follows:
•
Define the diameter of the cable so that the clamp-
ing range of the screwed cable gland (
11
) is adhered
to. The cable selected must be such that protection
class IP 67 is guaranteed. The cable must be round
and must not be twisted
•
The cable must not be dirty in the throughfeed area
of the screwed cable gland (
11
).
The required cross-section area for the connection cable
must be adhered to
(see Section 4.1: „General technical
.
When installing the cable on the substructure, ensure
that the cable cannot block either the trigger lever (
1
) or
reset lever (
2
).
5.2.5
Pull-rope system
A pull-rope must be installed in the conveyor system as
an actuator for the pull-rope emergency stop switch. The
pull-rope system, consisting of a pull rope and accesso-

switch. Accessories from Vossloh Kiepe GmbH are rec-
ommended for the pull rope system
„Ordering replacement parts and accessories", page 69)
Notwithstanding the above, the requirements specified in
the relevant standards must be complied with in respect
of the pull-rope system.
These operating instructions describe how to mount the
pull-rope emergency stop switch. To mount the pull-rope
system, see the relevant documentation.
5.3
