5 Mounting and dismounting
5.4.4 Finishing work 1. Check the pull-rope emergency stop switch for dirt
and moisture. Remove dirt and moisture as
described in the following steps.
2. Dry the pull-rope emergency stop switch as follows:
a. Remove any significant quantities of water by
dismounting the pull-rope emergency stop
switch, emptying it out and remounting it.
b. Remove any residual moisture in the device with
a clean, absorbent and lint-free cloth.
3. Clean the pull-rope emergency stop switch from the
inside by removing dirt with a clean lint-free cloth or
a brush. You can remove any significant quantities
of dirt carefully, using pincers, for example.
Ingress of dirt and moisture!
Dirt and moisture may cause the device to malfunction
and corrosion.
If dirt and moisture have penetrated the device, you
must clean and dry the device before you close the
hood.

Beware!
The surfaces of the device and the seals must not be
damaged by the cleaning process.
Do not use any cleaning agents which contain solvents.
Do not use any knives or sharp-edged tools.
