Remote Operation

Each Cablemaster System was provided with a Radio Remote Control which can operate
the unit from up to 100 feet away. One Remote Control can be set up to operate either or
both Cablemaster Systems. See the Glendinning Manual for details.

To guard against accidental retrieval and extension of the power cords, turn

OFF

the

circuit breakers when the Cablemaster System is not being operated.

Cablemaster System Basic Service and Maintenance

If only a short section of power cord is regularly used, the cord may be subject to sharper
than normal coiling which in turn causes undue ‘kinking’ of the cord. To relieve this
condition, routinely pay out each cord completely and stretch it on the dock. Allow the
Cablemaster to then retract the cord completely into the vessel.

At least once a year, check all wiring connections to be sure they are secure and free of
corrosion. Check the neoprene covers on the in-limit and power switches to be sure they
are free of cracks or fracture.
