18. For each Generator, move the Engine Control switch on the Generator panel to
the
STOP position momentarily, until the engine stops.
There is a
50 amp Shore Power circuit breaker for each Shore Power connection on the
vessel. The two circuit breakers for the Forward Shore Power connections are located
in the Bow Thruster Compartment, Forward. The two circuit breakers for the Aft Shore
Power connections are located in the Lazarette .
After connecting to Shore Power, if there is no power on the vessel , you should do the
following:
1. Check the circuit breakers on the dock .
2. If still no power, try another dock side connection.
3. Check the circuit breakers on the vessel for the Shore Power connection you are
using (Forward or Aft).
4. If a circuit breaker IS tripped, power off ALL 120/240V AC equipment and then
reset the circuit breaker.
If the circuit breaker trips again, call the Dockmaster for assistance.
If the Generators will not be used for some time,
close the raw water intake seacocks;
turn OFF fuel supply and position Generator battery selector switches to OFF.
