Shower/Sink Drain System 

 
The shower stalls in the Master Head and Guest Head are equipped with a drain/sump 
system. The system consists of a self-priming 24V DC ITT Jabsco Par-Max 3 Pump, 
Pump Guard Strainer, and associated hoses, fittings, electrical power supplies, switches, 
and wiring. The shower water discharge is piped to an overboard opening located above 
the water line.   
 
The circuit breakers on the 24V DC Main Panel Disconnect labeled ‘

MASTER HEAD 

SHOWER PUMP

’ and ‘

GUEST HEAD SHOWER PUMP

’ need to be in the 

ON

 

position for the sump pumps to operate. There is a rocker switch, located in the Master 
Head and Guest Head, right front of the sink, labeled ‘

ON/OFF

. The rocker switch 

should be turned on activating the drain/sump pump while showering. 

Sink Drains 

The sinks in the Galley, Master Head, and Guest Head drain by gravity directly 
overboard. Refer to Figure 21 – Clear Water Waste Schematic for details.
