WARNING: The Logic Air Heat Pump may generate a large volume of condensate water. The condensate water
MUST be disposed of in a safe manner avoiding freezing on walkways and surfaces.
INSTALLATION OPTION 1
Logic Air Heat Pump installed
on a permeable base i.e.
gravel or sand soakaway
etc. which will allow the
condensate to drain freely.
Refer to Figure 30.
No additional condensate drain
requirements.
INSTALLATION OPTION 2
Logic Air Heat Pump installed
on a NON permeable base
such as concrete, patio or
paving blocks etc. which may
restrict condensate drainage
and increase the potential for
the condensate freezing.
SOLUTION B
Install the Logic Air Condensate
Drain Tray underneath the
Logic Air Heat Pump.
Install the Condensate Drain
Elbow (supplied) into the tray
drain connection point.
Install condensate drain
pipework (not supplied) to a
suitable drainage point.
Insulate all condensate drain
pipework.
SOLUTION B
Install Trace
Heating to the
internal surface of
the condensate
drain tray as per kit
instructions.
If the appliance is installed in a region where the temperature may fall
below +3 °C for long periods. A Condensate Trace Heating kit should be
installed to prevent freezing.
SOLUTION A
Install the nine Condensate
Drain plugs (supplied) in the
Heat Pump base panel, refer to
Figure 32.
Install the Condensate Drain
Elbow (supplied) into the drain
connection point in the Heat
Pump base panel, refer to
Figure 32.
Install condensate drain
pipework (not supplied) to a
suitable drainage point.
Insulate all condensate drain
pipework.
SOLUTION A
Install Trace
Heating to the
internal surface of
the base panel on
the Logic Air Heat
Pump as per kit
instructions.
