Installation and Maintenance

CAUTION: Use a suitable means of transporting the
Heat Pump. The appliance MUST remain upright and not
be tilted more than 45° to prevent damage to the internal
sealed circuit of the Heat Pump.
ᘐ
CAUTION: The product is not to be manoeuvred
via the packaging straps. The packaging straps are not
designed to carry the weight of the packaged unit and
will may break potentially causing injury to handlers or
damage to the product.
Packaging Symbols
The below symbols and conditions must always be followed
for the packaged product.
Take caution with this package as the load is unbalanced

Do not tilt the package
This package is to be kept upright
Product must be treated as fragile
Flammable contents
Keep package away from water and rain
Product should not be discarded as unsorted waste but
must be sent to separate collection facilities for recovery
and recycling

WARNING: Packaging straps are tightly secured and
can release a lot of kinetic energy when cut. Hold straps
firmly and apply caution when cutting and keep body
away during cutting to avoid injury.
The packaging is to be removed by following the below
sequence:
1.
Remove packaging straps by cutting them away from the
body.
2. Lift lid from packaging and evenly lift cardboard surround
sleeve.
3. Remove polystyrene corner support pieces.

WARNING: The protective plastic bag can
accumulate a lot of static charge. Appropriate measures
should be taken in hazardous areas.
4. Remove protective plastic bag from the Heat Pump and
secure with the rest of the packaging.
5. Once the Heat Pump is ready to be mounted it can be
lifted from the base.
6. It is the responsibility of the system installer to correctly
dispose and recycle the product packaging.
After the product is unpacked, make sure that all the contents
are present.

IMPORTANT: If there are any missing items, contact
Ideal Heating.

If lifting manually use the hand holds provided as shown in
Figure 28 and Figure 29
.

WARNING: Handlers must be aware and capable
of good manual handling techniques and practise them
during the handling of the Heat Pump.
Once moved onto the foundation, the Heat Pump is to be fixed
with vibration resistant fastenings to prevent gradually loosening
over time. There must be some method of vibration absorption
to prevent vibration from damaging the mounting foundation.
