9. Disconnect the battery connector after the five minutes have passed. The super cap
will maintain the 3V coin cell voltage when the lithium coin cell battery is removed
for about one minute.
10. Grasp the lithium coin cell battery and rotate it counter clockwise to release it from
the holder.
11. Insert the new lithium coin cell noting the proper polarity of the battery.
12. Reassemble the infuser in the exact reverse order of disassembly.
Note: If the pump displays a malfunction 479/0000 because it is unable to read
the serial number or usage counter, the lithium coin cell and SL A battery
should be removed for 10 minutes to recover the pump.
To verify successful replacement of the lithium coin cell battery, perform the PVT in
Section 5.6 .

LCD WINDOW REPLACEMENT
The recommended tool for this procedure is an X-acto knife.
The replacement part for this procedure is:
Window, LCD
To replace the LCD window, see Figure 7-6 , and proceed as follows:
1. Disconnect the infuser from AC power.
2. Separate the front and rear enclosures as described in Section 7.2.2 .
3. Remove the electronics assembly as described in Section 7.3.8.10 .
4. Using the X-acto knife, remove the LCD window from the front enclosure.
5. Remove the protective backing from the replacement LCD window to expose
the adhesive.
6. Center the replacement LCD window over the opening in the front enclosure
and press the window into place on the front enclosure.
7. Reassemble the infuser in the exact reverse order of disassembly.
To verify successful replacement of the LCD window, perform the PVT in
Section 5.6
