PRODUCT

HANDLING

AND

DISPOSAL

Follow hospital procedures for disposing and handling of administration sets. Do not
discard administration sets with regular trash. Comply with local disposal and recycling
regulations as appropriate for disposal of batteries, rechargeable battery packs, medical
electronic components, and administration sets.

At the end of the lead-acid battery’s service life, dispose of the lead-acid battery by
delivering it to an authorized lead acid battery recycler.

At the end of the lithium coin cell battery’s service life, dispose of the battery by following
your facility’s disposal policy for lithium coin cell batteries.

At the end of the infuser’s serviceable life, the infuser parts must be recycled by an
authorized electronic waste handler.
