2. Connect the safety analyzer ground lead to the device equipotential post.
3. Check the leakage current with the safety analyzer. Leakage current must not
exceed specifications in Table 5-8 .
4. Measure the resistance of the AC connector ground lug with the safety analyzer.
Resistance should not exceed specifications in
Table 5-8
.
Note: The door hinge is not grounded.
5. Connect the device to AC power and confirm the AC indicator light is lit.
NC = Normal Condition; SFC = Single-Fault Condition

or contact ICU Medical .
Note: If the Stuck Injector Switch Pin Test in section
Section 5.6.3
fails, perform
the procedure for cleaning the injector switch pin in
Section 5.2.6.1
, then
repeat the test. If the test fails after cleaning, replace the mechanism
assembly as described in
Section 7.3.8.14
or contact ICU Medical .
If all Performance Verification Tests have been successful, proceed as follows:
1. Clear device history.
2. Reset the LifeCare PCA infusion system to the original configuration.
3. Verify the correct time and date.
4. Return the LifeCare PCA infusion system to service.
