subsequent servers, go to

18. Determine whether there are any HP StoreAll OS Software maintenance releases later than

the current HP StoreAll OS Software version (see

“Factory default and current HP StoreAll OS

Software version information” (page 7)

). If maintenance releases are available, acquire

necessary files and follow provided maintenance release instructions.

Completing the HP StoreAll 8xxx and 93xx server installation by configuring servers
and a cluster in ASCII mode

Form a Cluster — Step 2

screen, enter a name for the cluster, and specify the IP address

and netmask for the Management Console IP (also called the Cluster Management IP). This a
virtual IP address (VIF) assigned to the entire cluster for management use. Think of the address
as the IP address of the cluster. Connect to this VIF in future GUI management sessions. The
VIF remains highly available.

Enter the IP addresses and domain name for your DNS servers, as well as the IP addresses
for your NTP servers, and then select

Ok

screen, review the configuration that you specified, and then
