Use the

Server & Storage Expansion Wizard

to:

•

Discover any available HP StoreAll servers and attached storage.

•

Decide how you would like to use discovered storage.

IMPORTANT:

If you intend to configure servers, all servers in each cluster must be configured

using this wizard.

NOTE:

For HP StoreAll 8200 platform HP 3PAR integration information, see the HP 3PAR StoreAll

9300 Gateway Storage Implementation Guide at

While completing wizard steps, you may click

Cancel

to cancel the procedure, or click

Help

to

display help information. If available, click

Back

to return to the previous screen or

Next

to save

entries or changes and continue to the next screen.

If new servers are to be found, have an IP address ready to enter for its bonded network interface,
as well as an IP address to assign to its iLO interface.

For the new storage discovered, you will be asked if you would like to create a new file system
on it, or extend an existing file system. If you have multiple file systems you would like to extend,
run this wizard again for each file system.

Accessing the File Servers screen

On the

Welcome

screen, click

Next

(or

File Servers

from the

Navigation

pane). The

Server & Storage

Expansion Wizard

displays the

File Servers

screen and all servers found on the network are

displayed, if any.
